What Size Handbag Do You Actually Need?

The Maisie Maxi — for carrying more

The Maxi is for the days when you want to be ready for anything. Everything the Midi holds, plus a compact umbrella and the extra room to add to it.

It suits longer days, days out, and travel. If you are the person your friends ask for a plaster, a hair clip, or a spare charger, this is your size.

Best for: long days, days out, and being prepared.

How to choose

• Carry only the basics? Go for the Mini.
• Want one bag for most days? Go for the Midi.

A good rule: pick the size that fits what you carry on a normal day, not your busiest one. A bag that is slightly too big gets carried half empty and loses its shape. A bag that fits gets used.
